A base-builder in development
Afterglass
You hold a keep on the Veil. By day the living build, craft and hold the walls. Anyone who dies inside them wakes at dusk as a shade and works the night shift in the reflected keep. At dawn you decide which of the dead stay.

Play the prototypes
Each prototype tests a single question from the plan. The first two are greyboxes, the third is the first art, and the fourth joins them into one season, which became the game. The first three are kept in the archive, as they were.
- Weeks 7–10 sliceOne seasonWould you play a second season? Seven days and nights in a keep that starts as two rooms and is built up a room at a time: escalating raids, Maws that break whatever you leave bare, the Lantern Church's first inspection, and the Hollow on the new moon. Starts with an optional guide; installs as an app and plays offline.
- Weeks 1–2 greyboxTwo rosters and the RiteDoes a death feel like a loss and a hire at once?
- Weeks 3–4 greyboxThe night on its ownIs the night fun without the day? Candles, Creepers, fading and remembrance.
- Weeks 5–6 pixel passFirst artCan players read the Tain on a phone? Four room pairs, the dusk crossing, two night cameras and a timed tap test.
