Magnitude
Also called: intensity, force, amplitude
Definition
The strength, force or intensity of a response — how loud, how hard, how far. It is measured directly when instruments allow (a decibel meter, a scale) and otherwise by a defined rating with anchors for each level, which needs agreement checks like any other measure.
In plain language
How strong or intense a behavior is, such as how loud or how hard. Harder to measure well than how often.
Example
Voice volume during a request is rated 1 to 3 using written descriptions for each level.
Not magnitude
How many requests were made. That is count.
